Nice to see this old favourite used for the February Cover
Lancashire Life - February Issue. I shot this on a Fuji 6x9cm film camera long before the days of digital. It's a slightly weird crop taken from a landscape format but still works for the magazine. It shows the Coniston fells on a crisp and frozen winters evening. We've not had many of those this season but I live in hope! What we need to remember is The Lake District was shared with Lancashire until 1974 and back then it extended to the summit of the Wrynose Pass where to this day the historic Three Shires stone still remains.
