Tony West LBIPP is a Lake District based commercial photographer who shoots
from his Cumbria studio as well as locations throughout the UK and overseas.
Being centrally located within the UK, Cumbria is an ideal base for
professional photography of outdoor sports, tourism, travel as well as
commercial and industrial subjects. Cumbria, Northeast England and Southwest
Scotland are recognized as the hub of the renewable energy market in the UK,
a developing sector that Tony is keenly pursuing.
Tony West is a regular photographic contributor to leading international
energy publications as well as key European outdoor sports titles. In
addition to his commissioned work Tony West shoots stock for Corbis and
other leading photo libraries covering a wide spectrum of subjects from
lifestyle to commercial.
His advertising background gives him an insight to the commercial needs
of each individual client where photography is seen both aesthetically
as well as an integral graphic component to the marketing mix.
As an early advocate of digital photography Tony West also coaches
professional and amateur photographers in his craft. Coaching can be
arranged utilizing his studio in Cumbria or any chosen location.
